Newkind 2019
Event description
Find Your purpose. Make Your Impact. Join The Evolution.
Newkind 2019 brings presenters from around the country together in a zero-waste, solar-powered, conference format designed to empower young changemakers and social entrepreneurs.
Held this year at the Falls Festival site, in Marion Bay, Tasmania, the lineup includes representatives from the Bob Brown Foundation, Amnesty International, Local Futures, Sustainability Australia and the Australia Youth Climate Coalition.
Participants attend plenary sessions, discussion panels, keynotes and workshops to prepare for social change initiatives, social enterprise and activism efforts, throughout the rest of the year.
Conference topics include economic justice, gender equality, social entrepreneurship, climate action, participatory democracy, conflict resolution, built environment and a host of other related themes.
Newkind is an event for those who are ready to stand up and be the change we need to see in this world. We're here to create a better world. Straight up. To design regenerative systems, to champion social justice, bring about equality, defend diversity and facilitate the process of peace-building.
Newkind is designed to empower you to make the positive impact you want to make on the world. So come... be inspired, and get connected with a community of leaders, pioneers and agents of social change.
