Event description

Full Time Lives' co-founder Natalie Yan-Chatonsky will share her learnings on longevity from her study tour to Okinawa, Japan with an intimate group over a light breakfast. Okinawa is one of the 5 Blue Zones hotspots, where there's one of the highest density of healthy and happy centenarians in the world.

She shares some of the inspiring stories of the older Okinawas she met on her trip and what we can learn from them to lead a fulfilling, happy and healthy life, no matter what age. Some highlights include:

  • Longevity tips from Emi-san, the 70 year old female restaurant owner and chief dietitian of the award winning Eminomise (Emi’s Restaurant) in Ogimi, the Village of Longevity.
  • How Urukawa-san left his busy city life in Tokyo to return to his home roots in Okinawa to lead a life of ikigaia Japanese concept that means "a reason for being" and joined a moai, a social, emotional and financial support group that can be attributed to the longevity in Okinawa.

We will also have short ideation session around what we can all do to incorporate some of the Okinawan longevity concepts into our own lives, as well as those of our employees and customers of our organisations.

Seats are limited so book your tickets soon.
