This conference will bring together experts from various disciplines and backgrounds under the 4 PRISM themes: Immunisation, Respiratory Viruses, Emerging Infectious Diseases and New Methods for Simulation and Modelling.

The aim of our conference is to strengthen local and regional networks and provide a platform to share strengths and capabilities as well as explore new avenues to pursue in the context of Methods and Applied Mathematics. The Conference will take place over 4 days.

Conference day 1 (Wednesday 22nd August) will focus on modelling applications for policy and practice and may further be of interest to this group.

Conference day 2 (Thursday 23rd August) will be more methodologically oriented, running into technical workshops for individuals with existing modelling expertise on Friday 24th August.

Contributed talks
There will be scope for contributed talks and there will be a poster presentation session on Wednesday the 22nd of August.

Please submit your abstract by the 15th of May via email to: prism-contact@unimelb.edu.au and clarify if you prefer to talk or present a poster.

Accommodation:

A pool of 1,2 or 3 bedroom suites are available on first come first served basis and are subject to availability. This pool will be released to the public mid April so early registration is essential. If you wish to reserve accommodation at the Alamanda please send your requirements to prism-contact@unimelb.edu.au asap.

Pricing is as follows:

1 Bedroom pool side suite: 395 per night

2 Bedroom suite, shared with private room: 252.50 per night

3 Bedroom suite, shared with private room: 205 per night
