Suitable for first year HDR students.
Prerequisite: completed Course 1: Foundational Issues in Qualitative Research
This course will guide students through the elements of a qualitative research design. Each week, students work on a component to compile a mini research design for their chosen topic. They will peer review a design in the final week.

Completion Certificate awarded for students participating on weekly online activities and discussion.
This workshop supports your development in the Research Skills and Knowledge element of the MAPARC research student capability framework and the Research Lifecycle element of the UTS Research Outcomes Capability framework.

What if I can no longer attend, do I need to cancel?
Yes. Please contact the Researcher Development team at grs_rd@uts.edu.au for workshop cancellation.
If you fail to cancel your registration and are absent three or more times in a session, you will be suspended from the program for 1 year. You will be notified by email prior to your suspension being applied.
How will I know the location for this event if it is not confirmed yet?
You will be sent a reminder email approximately one week prior to the workshop. This will include the workshops location, date, time and anything you may need to know prior to the workshop.
