1. Follow the meeting link to enter the meeting.

2. Navigate to the UTS Zoom site. Sign in using your UTS credentials.

3. Select ‘Join a meeting’ from the top navigation menu.

4. Enter the meeting ID into the text box. Select ‘Join’.

5. You will enter the meeting when the Zoom application launches.

Reading for your Literature Review - Getting Started and What to Look For

This practice-oriented workshop focuses on important aspects of the initial stages of reading for and writing about your research area. The workshop covers the basics for HDR students who have just started, so the workshop will deal with:

• The characteristics of written research
• Reading strategies for published research
• Reading for a purpose – what to focus on
• In-text citation and stylistic choices
• The principles of coherent reading and writing research etc.
