Event description
Run the lighthouse takes trail runners to the beautiful Wilsons Promontory National Park. Based out of the Tidal River Camp ground this trail running event will take you on adventures through some of Victoria most amazing coastal trails. Known for its rugged mountains, squeaky beaches, aqua clear waters, abundant wildlife, varying weather patterns and the relaxing family campground at Tidal River. Run the lighthouse is a great family weekend away.
Featuring 110km - 55km - 21km - 5km distances
Tickets per event are limited with 5km tickets going on Sale 7 days after opening event Priority to 110km then 55km, then 21km
All events are 100% off road pure trail and beaches
110km covers the entire network of tracks on the southern peninsula, including Oberon Beach, Windy Saddle, Ferny Gully, Sealers Cover, Refuge Cove, Waterloo Beach, Telegraph Track, South Point, the Light House and back along many of them.
55km takes you on on Oberon Beach, Windy Saddle, Ferny Gully, Sealers Cover, Refuge Cove, Waterloo Beach across to Telegraph track and back to Tidal River
21km is a scenic out and back along Norman Beach, Oberon Beach to Telegraph Track junction and back to Tidal River
5km don't miss out either, with Norman Beach spreading you out before the single track takes you to Norman Lookout and back again.
