Event description

Investigate colour, balance and movement in this sculpture class. We explore the importance of balance in sculpture then look at American artist Alexander Calder and explore his kinetic sculptural mobiles. We then create our own balancing sculptural mobiles using wire and an array of found natural and decorative materials.

Sculptural Mobiles will run outdoors at The North Perth Common. The traffic will be blocked off and shade will be provided.

There will be two classes running, 4-7-year-olds at 2:30 - 3:20 pm and 8 - 11-year-olds at 3:30 - 4:20 pm.

This event is supported by the City of Vincent.
