Share the Milestone - Sydney Jewish Museum Bar & Bat Mitzvah Program

A Bar and Bat Mitzvah is an incredibly special time for Jewish children and their families to share - a significant milestone and a rite of passage.
This new program introduces children preparing for their Bar or Bat Mitzvah, together with their parents, to moving stories of what this rite of passage means to Holocaust survivors.
Together, in a three-hour session on a Sunday afternoon at the Sydney Jewish Museum, families will hear about how some survivors practiced their Judaism in hiding during the Holocaust, and how others celebrated this significant event decades after the war.
The program encourages parents and children to think about how meaningful this milestone is.
Bar and Bat Mitzvah programs will be held on
- Sunday 22 March 2020 @ 2:30pm
- Sunday 2 August 2020 @ 2:30pm
- Sunday 8 November 2020 @ 2:30pm
The cost is $36 per family (child and up to two adults).
