Event description

While this year's summit has now sold out, please check out our other festival events by clicking here.

For the first time we’re having a Social Impact Festival designed and led by Aboriginal leaders, providing wisdom to help us all co-plan and co-create a better future for everyone. If you are involved in community engagement, corporate social responsibility, or are a curious citizen then this festival is one not to miss.

Danjoo Koorliny Walking Together Towards 2029 and Beyond: Voice, Treaty, Truth Summit has been designed and will be led by Aboriginal leaders Dr Noel Nannup, Dr Richard Walley, Prof Colleen Hayward and Carol Innes.

The year 2029 will mark 200 years of colonisation in Perth; we are 10 years away from that point. During the two-day summit we will explore - through keynote lectures, workshops, panel presentations and yarning circles - positive change already underway in a number of social areas, and co-discover the most important steps for moving forward.

By the end of the summit we will have co-created a 10-year plan with actions and outcomes for how we will walk together towards 2029 and beyond.
