Solstice Celebration – Winter Warmers

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Let's come together to celebrate the winter solstice, the shortest day of the year.

In times gone by, communities of people joined to celebrate the coming of warmer days with feasting, song, dance and fires that warmed the soul.

We will celebrate in the Brisbane Ranges National Park, surrounded by trees and the winter birds of the bush. We'll take a short walk through the forest, following the river, before settling down beside a warm fire to feast on hearty food and to reflect on the year that has passed and the one to come.

To welcome back the longer days, we will be guided in setting intentions for the coming year, journaling our desires and meditating to bring these wishes into fruition.

Everything that you need will be provided, all you'll need is warm clothes, a water bottle, walking shoes and a backpack.

If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know. We are more than happy to accommodate your needs.

By the way, if the weather is horrendous, we will reschedule the day. If you can’t make the new date, we will give you a full refund.

I am really looking forward to celebrating this special day in nature.

I hope to see you there!

Kindest regards,

Brooke

PS. As we need to book and pay for mediation guide and caterer, we are unable to give a refund on cancellations within 7 days of the event.
