Event description

Awaken & rejuvenate your life-force and connect & harmonise your body, mind & soul with an evening of conscious dance to live music, followed by an integrating sound bath.

This will be a great opportunity to come together as a community to dance and connect on a soul level.

You don’t need to have had any prior dance experience to participate & benefit from this session, just an openness to explore yourself through movement & meditation.

The conscious dance will take you on a journey to awaken, vitalise & balance your life-force, release what no longer serves you & dance your way into your unique soul expression.

'When you do things from your soul, you feel a river moving in you, a joy.' (Rumi.)

Geeti Dayashakti, a much-loved & experienced Sydney-based Soul Motion dance teacher, will easefully guide you into deep connection with yourself & each other.

The session will include an inner enquiry exploring how we move through life both individually & collectively, to help us gain valuable insights into how we interact with ourselves & each other.

Gyanananda, a gifted & eminent musician, kirtanist & sound healer from Sydney (previously based in Tasmania), will be providing lovingly crafted sacred music soundscapes to support & inspire your inner dancer. He will have your soul and cells dancing with a unique combination of original sacred music & kirtan on guitar, cajon, harmonium, flute and voice.

Geeti & Gyan love sharing music, mantra & movement to help open people’s hearts. They bring joyful, uplifting & meditative qualities to conscious dance & sound healing.

The program concludes with a sound bath featuring local sound healer Tim Devereux on didgeridoo, and Geeti & Gyan on hang, flute, gong, medicine drum, Tibetan bowls & chimes, for deep relaxation, integration, balance & soul nourishment.

No previous dance experience required!
