"TEN Beers 4 TEN Years!"
Event description
It was October 2009 when BEERtasters convened for the first time, upstairs at the old Defectors Bar in Mt Lawley. The only goal, back then, was to share the passion I'd developed for all the things good beer can be; and that essentially remains the motivation for every event since that very nervous start! Now, almost ten years later, it seems appropriate to celebrate...
To mark the occasion, I'll be presenting TEN of my favourite beers from the past ten years - some of the old fave's I can remember, and a few recent treats. If you're aware of BEERtasters' past, you'll know that the Saison style will be well represented, as will Belgium's artisanal gems and the intoxicating bite of New World hops... And, of course, DTC chef Ryan Lambson will be delivering five expertly-matched dishes to accompany, and enhance, five of those brews.
It's going to be quite a night, so check the date and take advantage of our 'early bird' special on tickets - $89.00 per person if purchased before Friday 18th October. That's a guided tour through TEN crackin' beers, with FIVE courses of food and plenty of fun along the way... It's amazing value!
