The University of Technology Sydney (UTS) Business School will host an Australia-Korea Fintech Regulation symposium to foster bilateral relationships around the management and governance of technological innovation in the finance sector.

The Symposium will bring together Australian and Korean academic, government and industry participants to network and exchange ideas on ways to foster sustainable innovation in financial products and services.

It will feature presentations and roundtable discussions to explore regulatory challenges and opportunities is areas such as cryptocurrencies, digital payments, crowdfunding, peer-to-peer lending and insurance.

Enabling communities and businesses to harness innovation and technology in financial services to drive growth are policy priorities of the Governments of Australia and the Republic of Korea, and the symposium aims to support and advance these priorities.
