Join us at The Grounds for October school holidays for our fun Introduction to Yoga class.

Kids Yoga is a fun and incredibly beneficial activity for children of all ages. Classes comprise of movement with an emphasis on games, partner exercises and short meditations help them to develop coordination, flexibility and strength as well as still their minds. They may also experience better sleep, an improvement in concentration, attitude, respect and consideration for others, and the ability to self-manage their emotions through breathing techniques.

Our teacher Steph Scott knows how to keep it fun and enjoyable too so that your child will not feel like being back in school!

There will be a seating area for parents to observe and we will provide yoga mats for each child. You only need to ensure they are wearing loose, comfortable clothing and bring a water bottle for them to use if they get thirsty.

Since completing her yoga teacher training in 2015, Steph has led a diverse range of yoga classes and workshops at studios, workplaces, schools and events. She also runs a community yoga program that brings yoga and meditation to socially isolated communities.

In the Class Kids Will

- Learn a few basic yoga positions.
-Learn to concentrate on their breathing.

Please note

Classes start at 10am, please arrive 10 minutes before.

Classes run for approximately 45 minutes.
Suitable for children between 4 to 12 years old - parents are welcome to stay and watch.
Be aware that the traffic and available car park in the area can be challenging, click here for more information.
Classes will be held in The Patio, found within The Grounds Garden.
This is not a drop off service. All parents are required to stay within The Grounds of Alexandria at all times while their child is in the class.
The number of tickets remaining for each class is indicated in the drop-down menu when purchasing tickets.
