Join us at The Grounds for our January school holiday program.  This is a hands-on workshop with the founder of Maya Sunny Honey, Andrew, as he shares his knowledge about Bee's, the importance of Bee's and their Hives. 

During the one hour workshop, Andrew will share his passion and inspiration for bees that started at a very young age in the country-side of Poland, where he learned to help his parents on the apiarist farm.

In this class you will learn:

- The role the Queen Bee, Drones and worker bees play in the beehive

- Their importance of bees and observe them through an observational hive 

- How to extract honeycomb from the frame to make honey

You will take home:

- A jar of your collected honey from the workshop 

- A Maya Sunny Honey show bag

Please note:

  • There is no experience necessary
  • There is a limited quantity of tickets available for each class. If you cannot make the event please provide a minimum of 48 hours notice as refunds and rescheduling will not be available after this time
  • This event sessions start at 09:30 am and 11:30 am sharp and will take place in The Grounds Patio (located next to the children's play area and farm animals)
  • This class is suitable for children 6-13 years
