The Haven’s First Birthday

Our shelter is celebrating 12 months of providing safety and warmth & we'd like to invite you to celebrate with us, carnival style!
In the last 12 months, with your help, we have provided over 3000 - three thousand - nights of safety within our doors for over 50 women and children in crisis. We have offered support programs, such as our Wellness Wednesday Program, Family Support Program, pet therapy, outreach community events, yoga, meditation, homework sessions, gardening workshops, art and craft workshops, domestic violence education programs, family engagement opportunities and mentored healthy living skills to rebuild safety and stability for families. While the topic may be somber, the outcome certainly isn't.
We want our community to celebrate with us. So, like any good one year old we plan to celebrate in style! ALL INCLUDED in your ticket will be a delicious early lunch, thanks to Outback Steakhouse Australia, face painting by the AMAZING Rachael Brady : Face Painter, Kindifarm petting zoo, disco, magician, soft play area and colouring competitions and of course cupcakes by Mrs C's CupCakes and birthday cake! Plus there will be a chocolate wheel and a great raffle you won't want to miss out on.
Celebrate with us and join us for a festival of fun. Special thanks to Mike and team at Outback Steakhouse Penrith for sharing their wonderful venue and providing the food and drinks.
Proceeds from the event will go directly to The Haven to enable us to continue this wonderful work for our local community.
