Join us for a fun evening of wine and nibbles at Osana Care and leave with a deeper understanding of the pelvic floor, how it integrates with other systems in the body, how to screen for pelvic floor issues and how we can best work together to get optimal patient outcomes.

Nicole Cozean is a leading expert on Interstitial Cystitis and pelvic pain, and the owner of Pelvic Sanity. She has her doctorate in Physiotherapy from Chapman University and an undergraduate degree in Physiology and Neuroscience from the University of California, San Diego. She completed a Fellowship in urogyenocological physiotherapy at UCI and has received more than 300 hours of pelvic health continuing education. 

Nicole has written extensively, publishing papers on pelvic floor dysfunction, interstitial cystitis, and patient care. She's the author of the award-winning bookThe Interstitial Cystitis Solution.

She was named the 2017 Interstitial Cystitis (IC) Physiotherapist of the Year and is the first physiotherapist to serve on the Interstitial Cystitis Association Board of Directors, and on the Prostate.net Medical Advisory Board.  

Who is this evening for?

This informative evening is for all healthcare professionals. Especially general practitioners’s, musculo/sports physiotherapists and other movement practitioners.

What will I learn?

  • You will gain a deeper understanding of the pelvic floor including; what is is, how it works, common pelvic floor issues.
  • Learn the importance of the orthopaedic- pelvic floor crossover and what that means for patient outcomes and referrals.
  • You will leave with a proven screening protocol to be able to improve outcomes by addressing pelvic floor issues earlier.
