The first 1,000 days of life is a critical time period for growth and development. For the families of babies with cerebral palsy, this time is filled with uncertainty and hope. In rural India, poverty and limited access to health care can make this time even more challenging. This video and photo display showcases the strength and resilience of families. It visually documents a research project training women in Indian communities. These women support mothers of babies with cerebral palsy through activities around play, movement, nutrition and health.

There will be an opportunity to purchase prints and photos from the exhibition. All proceeds will go toward the Asha Bavan Centre for the continued employment of community disability workers https://www.abcindia.org/.

Resources created will be used in local Australian Breastfeeding Association Mothers groups.
