Program Overview

Indigenous businesses and culture are inherently sustainable and provide a wealth of knowledge to better understanding how to sustain our planet and also business and in particularly in the area of science, agriculture, health and medicine, however without policy alignment the potential opportunities are limited. Indigenous Cultural Frameworks and Indigenous Supply Chains can drive localised actions on the Sustainable Development Goals and enable Australia to lead in a 12 trillion-dollar SDG economy.

INDIGI LAB in partnership with Awatea Resource Management Consultancy have developed a specialist program that enables better understanding on apply Indigenous Rights to the Sustainable Development Goals. This program gives the participants the tools and resources to unlock and learn how the Sustainable Development Goals with The Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.

What will the program cover? 

Through the program participants unlock the potential of the Sustainable Development Goals and Indigenous procurement. This is a fully interactive course; you will meet and learn from the world leading policy experts and fellow participants. Through the program we will guide the participants in applying Indigenous Rights Frameworks across the Sustainable Development Goals action plans.

This specialist program is an intensive process to provide guidance around applying Indigenous Rights Framework to your business strategies and any existing internal SDG Goals and scoping external Indigenous supply chains and unlocking the potential of your company’s existing Indigenous strategies, projects, programs and policies.

Through the program our policy experts provide real-life case studies and scenarios to apply Indigenous Rights Framework in business and across your company SDGs plans.

  • Connect with leading Indigenous Environmental Scientist, Entrepreneurs, Technologist and Policy Makers.
  • The development of best business practice to drive localised solutions to the Sustainable Development Goals.
