This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Join Technion Australia and William Buck for an exclusive lunch with Warren Bingham - the man who brought an Israeli innovative medical device into Australia, positioning it as a global leader.

Warren was one of the global executives who introduced PillCam® (the worlds first video camera in a pill that you swallow) to the world. PillCam®, marketed under Given Imaging was invented by Technion alumnus, Gavriel Iddan. Given Imaging went from start up in Year 2000 to being sold in 2014 for nearly $1 Billion.

Warren will share his secrets for contributing to the incredible success story of PillCam® as well as the do's and dont's of introducing new products into the market, why does Israel do it better and the role of academia in fostering innovation.

The event will also be an opportunity to showcase one of Technion Australia's priority projects - the development of Low-Cost Lab-on-a-Chip Devices for Early Diagnosis of Cancer.

We look forward to welcoming you on the day.
Ruth Ratner, President and Ori Danieli, Executive Director, Technion Australia.
