Thrive Conference 2019, Christian Positive Psychology in Practice

Christian faith and Positive Psychology share many foundations such as hope, mindfulness, compassion and gratitude.

So how can we use Positive Psychology to enhance and inform our faith-based teachings in schools, churches and community groups?

This one-day conference for teachers, school leaders, chaplains, psychologists and wellbeing leaders will explore:

• The science of Positive Psychology
• How concepts from Positive Pscyhology can be applied in faith-based teachings to promote wellbeing and improve mental fitness
• Practical examples of how teachers are using Positive Psychology in religious and faith-based education

Attending the Thrive Conference 2019 will contribute 5 hours of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Registered PD addressing 1.3.2, 6.2.2 and 7.4.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
