Together For Humanity warmly invites you to our
Annual Fundraising Dinner
Support Together for Humanity to develop school students’ interfaith and intercultural understanding and in doing so brings communities together!
Speakers
A/Professor Munjed Al Muderis, A leading Orthopaedic Surgeon, and Author, who fled Iraq as he refused Saddam’s regime orders to surgically remove the ears of soldiers who deserted. He spent 10 months in Curtin detention centre. Hear him at this clip: https://youtu.be/4-nZ51ccumw
Alpha Cheng, educator, and advocate against racism and hate, son of Police Accountant, Curtis Cheng who was killed by a young extremist in Parramatta in 2015.
Musical Performance
The multicultural, Masha's Legacy is a unique intercultural performance ensemble featuring celebrated international performers from diverse backgrounds. Their original music draws from our vast wealth of heritage and culture, as well as deep experience in mainstream artistic and commercial styles including jazz, European classical, Arabic styles, flamenco, and klezmer music.
This event will honour our Founding Governors: Costa & Despina Vrisakis, Peter & Chrysa Vlandis
