Session 2: Track record, Team composition, External collaboration, Institutional alignment
This is the second of a three-part Grants Development Workshop series, specifically designed for research support staff in faculties and central units to build capability in high-quality grant development support across UTS. Interested researchers are also welcome to register.
Participants attending this session will gain both strategic and practical insights into the following topics:
- Various components of a ‘track record’, relevance and significance to a grant proposal
- Team composition – diversity, balance and complementarity, roles, examples of assessor praise and critiques
- External collaboration – purpose, short and long-term benefits
- Institutional alignment and research environment – making a case for project/candidate alignment with UTS
The workshop will be delivered by Dr Thorsten Kostulski and Mr James Walsh from the UTS Research Office.
