Event description

The UNAA NSW UNITED NATIONS DAY GALA DINNER celebrates the formation, goals and achievements of the United Nations. It is the flagship annual social event for the UNAA NSW community, our donors and partners. As well as an important fundraising and giving opportunity, the Gala Dinner is the occasion when the prestigious United Nations Day Honour is awarded to an individual or organisation who embodies UN values and priorities. This year the theme for our UN Honour is Indigenous Reconciliation.

We hope you will be able to join us at the 2019 Gala Dinner for a wonderful evening of celebration, entertainment and fundraising.

CONTACT ORGANISERVIEW PROFILE

As the pre-eminent institution in Australia to promote the objectives of the United Nations, the United Nations Association of Australia in New South Wales was established in 1946 to inform, inspire and engage all Australians regarding the critical work, goals and values of the United Nations and to create a safer, fairer and more sustainable world. We do this by engaging and partnering with the Australian Government and all sectors of the community—business, professional associations, academia, schools and civil society—and through organising several important annual events, including our official United Nations Day commemoration and celebrations.
