Event description

Get your backside trackside and make some noise for mental health as you join Winston on Black Dog Ride's second Tour to the Australian Yamaha Finance Round of the 2019 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship at Phillip Island!

Join us in Marysville, Victoria on Tuesday 19th February 2019 to commence the trip to Phillip Island with fellow Black Dog Riders. Starting at Marysville, you'll loop up through some great Victorian high country roads, finishing at Bright for the evening, where you'll enjoy Community Engagement opportunities with the locals (details TBA).

On Wednesday 20th Feb, the ride heads down to Sale and meets up with Black Dog Riders coming in from NSW. In Sale, there'll be another Community engagement event (details TBA) over dinner joining the VIC and NSW legs as one.

On Thursday 21st, all Black Dog Riders head to Phillip Island together. Along the way there are planned stops at the brand new "Inline 4" Cafe; and if time permits, a visit to The Vietnam Veterans Museum at Phillip Island (optional and so the museum entry fee is not included in the ticket price). By mid-afternoon we head over to the track to collect paddock passes and assemble for the exciting parade lap of the circuit at around 5 pm

Friday 22nd is free-practice and qualifying day and your ticket will give you run of the paddock to get up close to the action.. this is where your Black Dog Ride Paddock stool will come in handy! If you purchase the BarSBK option, you'll also get all-areas access to the covered spectator areas with Beverage service and Big-Screen TV's at Lukey Heights, Doohan Corner, and Siberia. Over in the Expo, Black Dog Ride will be running a trade booth selling Black Dog Ride merchandise and enjoying conversations with the crowds. You're encouraged to come and help out on the stand for bit.

On Friday night join us for the Champion's Dinner, a Black Dog Ride exclusive event hosted in the Phillip Island Circuit's Visitors Centre. In 2018 we were graced with the attendance of 2x World Superbike Champion Troy Corser and current ASBK competitors Bryan Starring and Daniel Falzon interviewed by the trackside commentator over dinner. They hung around for autographs and PI opened up the bike museum for us too, an awesome and unforgettable night!

2019 marks the release of an all-new race format for WSBK at Phillip Island, with not two, but THREE WSBK races over the weekend! Opening rounds of the ASBK and WSBK rounds will be run on Saturday AND Sunday from 2019. Don't miss out!

On Saturday evening, Cowes comes alive, but first, the Phillip Island Country Fire Authority (CFA) will host us at their firehouse for a BBQ dinner after which you'll be free to find your own entertainment in Cowes.

Sunday is the last day of Racing and the Expo so make the most of it before heading home Sunday afternoon or Monday. If your ticket purchase includes trackside camping at the circuit, you'll be paid up until Monday morning.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of an unmissable event and to support Black Dog Ride's mental health initiatives. We have limited spots available, so book early!
