Sydney's premier acapella choirs, Cafe of the Gate of Salvation and Honeybees Choir, are coming together for a fundraising concert for The Hunger Project to raise their voices to help end world hunger.
Inspired by the footstompin’, soulful music of the African-American vocal tradition, both choirs share their voices to spread love and joy. Tying in with The Hunger Project's 'Unleashed' campaign, we will be celebrating empowerment, freedom and liberation through our music.
Come along and sway to the rhythm whilst raising money to help end global hunger for a night of entertainment unlike any other.
All profits will be donated to The Hunger Project Australia, an organisation with a mission to end hunger by 2030 through holistic, grassroots, women-centred strategies.
The Hunger Project
The Hunger Project’s goal is to end world hunger by 2030. Our approach is different – we see people living in hunger as the solution, not the problem. We shift the mindsets of women and men so they transform into leaders for the sustainable end of hunger. Then, through our programs such as education, microfinance, agriculture and health, we empower people with the skills, knowledge and resources they need to break the poverty cycle themselves.
