WE OWN THE HALL - VOL 5 - FLIGHT HAWK
November 30, 6pm - 10pm. BUNGWAHL HALL.
WHAT WILL WE HEAR? Newcastle's finest art-rock collective Flight Hawk. This secretive band draw inspiration from objects that are not easily seen in the mortal realm. Band leader Zackari Watt's former band "THE HAUNTINGLY BEAUTIFUL MOUSEMOON" reunited at GUMBALL 2019 to the direct joy of their feverish fanbase.
In short, this will be the most audacious rocking art project to ever hit Bungwahl. Expect projections, blow-up decorations, high falseto singing, possibly smoke machines. Expect to be moved. Expect the unexpected.
WHAT WILL WE EAT? Melting Pot Catering is bringing a delicious Indian inspired meal of Butter Chicken or Vegetable and Lentil Curry. Both served with Jasmine rice and Poppadoms. MEAL INCLUDED IN TICKET PRICE
WHO'S INVITED? Everyone! This is a community event to financially support one of the oldest buildings in our area. Old, young, crawling. We welcome everyone.
Adult tickets (over 17) are $30 and children get in for $15. For your money you'll get a delicious dinner from Melting Pot catering and see FLIGHT HAWK play a kick-ass show.
WHY DO WE PARTY? The Bungwahl Hall is community owned and we need to pay for it to stay in community hands. The best way
to show your support for the hall is to buy a ticket and have a good time on November 30, easy.
BUS TRANSPORT We have a charter bus service for transport to and from the event. The shuttle leaves Forster Information Center at 5pm, the Blueys Beach shops at 5:30pm, it'll be at Smiths Lake shops at 5:45pm. The bus will do a return loop of the spots it picked up from.
