The Grounds of Alexandria welcome you to attend our wedding venue showcase.
We are opening our doors to give newly engaged couples searching for their perfect wedding reception venue the opportunity to view one of Sydney’s most beautiful event spaces.
Our events team will be offering designated tours throughout The Grounds, designed to give you the opportunity to explore what our unique spaces have to offer. During your session, they'll be available to answer questions and guide you through our event packages & current promotions.
Register today to receive your two complimentary tickets. Friends and family are welcome to join couples on the tour for an additional $20pp. Please carefully select your preferred time when processing your tickets - each session will run for a total of one hour.
Guests will be guided on a tour of our events spaces styled in some of our most popular bridal trends, including:
The Garden: The Grounds’ largest event venue, including an outdoor dance floor space, ceremony area and an alfresco bar. The Grounds’ abundant garden is overflowing with heirloom vegetables, blossoming flowers, fresh herbs and a variety of seasonal fruits. A Crumbling brick wall covered with creeping vines and a generous scattering of fairy lights provides a backdrop for the Garden that offers both an urban sanctuary and a beautiful event space.
The Atrium: Remaining true to The Grounds impeccable design aesthetic, this beautifully styled indoor garden atrium is a fresh, light and charming entertaining space privately located behind The Potting Shed. Enveloped in greenery, this romantic space is Parisian inspired with an established nursery tone that features wooden tables and bentwood chairs against a backdrop of sage & cream wall panelling, brass finishes and green accents.
The Cafe: When the hustle & bustle of the The Grounds of Alexandria Cafe subsides of an afternoon, the charming space transforms into an inviting and intimate event location, ideal for hosting evening cocktail or seated celebrations and corporate events. Located in a former warehouse and 1900's pie factory, the space features a blend of contemporary and industrial details with polished tiles, steel frames and custom cabinetry with an offering that caters to groups of all sizes.
Our venues are pram and wheelchair accessible with staff on hand to accommodate guests. Guests are welcome to take photos of the event spaces and share their photos online using #thegrounds.
