Dr Caroline Jones AO is one of Australia’s National Living Treasures and is the National Patron of Women in Media. She is a Walkley and Logie Award winner with a 50 year association with the ABC, including 20 years presenting Australian Story. As a woman in media she broke new ground as the first woman reporter on This Day Tonight, and the first woman to anchor Four Corners.

Two-time Walkley Award winner, Virginia Trioli is one of Australia’s best-known journalists, with a formidable reputation as a television anchor, radio presenter, writer and commentator. She currently anchors ABC News Breakfast on ABC 1 and ABC News 24, combining a rigorous interviewing style with a wicked sense of humour.

Women in Media (WiM) is a nationwide initiative for women working in all facets of the media – from journalism and media advisory work to creatives, public relations and corporate affairs.

WiM works to improve the working lives of women in media by addressing inequality in pay, conditions, opportunity and promotion.

Proceeds from ticket sales support literacy programs for young girls around the world.
