Working Group | 8 Wastes in detail – Continuous Improvement tool review

Event description

This working group will focus on 8 Wastes in detail – Continuous Improvement tool review

Can your teams see opportunities for improvement?

The saying is “you cannot fix what you cannot see” so a very important part of improving the organisation is having an eye for waste and a framework to improve understanding.

In this working group meeting we will share success stories of waste reduction and value creation and we will share the acronyms to help us remember the 8 waste categories.

We will also discuss how the commonly referred to 8 wastes can also be broken down into just 3 categories for simplicity and easier understanding, especially in non-manufacturing environments.

We will want to be inspired by solutions others have put in place so come along and share with us.

If you are keen to increase your continuous improvement knowledge and connect to others with a similar passion then this event is for you, no matter your current expertise level.

Our events are an excellent forum for networking and engaging in 'peer to peer' learning with other members. To get the most out of the event you need to attend the event with a willingness to contribute to group discussions.
