Event description

This working group will focus on Effective Maintenance Planning

Here is an opportunity to find out the do’s and don’ts of effective maintenance planning.

Asset intensive organisations know that effective maintenance planning is one of the cornerstone processes to help ensure equipment reliability and assist with attaining operational excellence.

Benefits include increased utilisation of tradespeople, reduced equipment downtime, lower spare parts holding and many more.

Some discussion points may be around.

  • What are the things to do to be effective at maintenance planning?
  • What is the desired skill set of a good planner?
  • How do you educate you maintenance planners?
  • How is the plan communicated so preparation can occur?
  • Is the difference between planning and scheduling clear?
  • What is your review and improvement process?
  • What KPI should we be measuring to understand the performance?

At his event there will be ample opportunity to learn from others, have your questions answered and to form connections with others in similar roles to you.

Our events are an excellent forum for networking and engaging in 'peer to peer' learning with other members. To get the most out of the event you need to attend the event with a willingness to contribute to group discussions.
