Have you taken a good look at your supply chain recently?

If your company makes products, buys materials, processes resources or provides services and then you sell to a customer, you have an end-to-end supply chain that might need optimising. How do you know if your end-to-end supply chain needs optimising?

Ask yourself this question:

“Are you getting your customers what they want, when they want it—and spending as little money as possible doing that?”

If your answer as anything other than YES, then your end-to-end supply chain needs optimising. If your customers are getting what they want, when they want it—you are 10% of the way there. But it may be costing you a lot to achieve this.

So how do you know if you are spending as little money as possible—on cost of goods, on inventory, on shipping, on warehousing, on labour, on overheads, and so on?

This working group will explore the ways you can begin to optimise your supply chain—and spend less while giving your customers what they want when they want it.

We will discuss how to:

  • Self-assess the effectiveness of your supply chain
  • Optimise your supply chain from forecasting through to planning and execution, thereby maximising profits.
  • Break down the barriers between your Production and Planning teams.
  • Improve communication through easy collaboration with partners and suppliers.
  • Design the optimal supply chain processes and supply chain planning tools to adapt to changes within your organisation.
