Event description
The Yackandandah Folk Festival is an excellent family friendly community event. Over the past 22 fun-filled years it has developed a great reputation for providing some of the best local and overseas touring acts, as well as nurturing new up-and-coming performers.
In addition to great music over the weekend, our festival allows all of the local community groups and sporting clubs to participate so that the festival has become a weekend of community focused celebration. The aim of our festival is not to be the biggest or the best, but to provide great music in a friendly, relaxed and participative environment. We aim to build new friendships every year and to develop a sense of community and inclusion within our festival that has our new friends coming back for more every year.
