Meroogal Art Prize 2018 finalist, Zuza Zochowski will lead this 2 day weekend workshop. Students will investigate experimental methods in creating a final composition using watercolour and collage. Students will experiment with different watercolour techniques both inside and out of the studio to create a final collaged artwork. Students will investigate the process of in cutting, modifying and layering in order to conceive a final composition.

The workshop will be an opportunity to explore shapes and colour in the landscape as well as work from your imagination, observe and use interesting methods in watercolour painting and create a series of small experimental studies or finish with a larger scale artwork.

Day 1 - Plein Air Painting at Meroogal House, Nowra. Return to Shoalhaven Regional Gallery.

Day 2 - Art studio at Shoalhaven Regional Gallery to explore composition and collage techniques.

Students are welcome to bring old sketches to collage with. Please bring a hat and water for day 1.
