Event description

Zero Waste Victoria and The Clothing Exchange are joining eco-friendly forces to bring a clothing swap to the Queen Victoria Market. Swapping is a clever and thrifty way to update your wardrobe and save you dollars as well as making the world a better place. If you have good quality garments you once loved but are no longer your favourites, would like to experience the sharing economy and connect with your local community, join us.

In addition to the swap, Jenna Flood aka Ironic Minimalist will give a styling demonstration where she will share tips and tricks for reducing fashion waste, while maximising your wardrobe. She advocates for sustainable alternatives such as pre-loved, vintage and clothing made with sustainable practices ,and will show you how to create fresh new looks with minimal fuss.

Zero Waste Victoria
will showcase simple ways that you can avoid waste, at home, when you shop and the Queen Vic market, and in everyday life.

When: Sunday 16 February

Styling workshop: 11:30 am - 12 pm
