Event description

3D Modelling is a practice which is part of the wider Theory U work from MIT, and is most often used to reveal the ‘AS IS’ state of a current reality prior to moving into the “TO BE”.

This modelling is most valuable is in allowing competing and parallel complex versions of the current reality in a “system” or environment to be located simultaneously on the same model.

The exercise falls under the experiential practices that allow the knowledge in our hands and bodies to be translated into a physical structure and our voices are used only to bring the structure to life rather than to access a logical narrative.

We guide you through this exercise in groups of 5 and demonstrate how to unstuck the complex reality of our chosen subject area. The outcome is a new and prioritised set of potential active engagements to step into an emerging future which we co-design.

The intention is to focus on a theme, which is as yet not defined…. The theme can be voted on depending on what is live for the majority of the room on any particular day.

The following topics are a starting point for us to agree on the night:

1. “Building Intergenerational cohesion as a means to unlocking wisdom and meaning for an emerging generation”
2. What enables people to find their purpose and meaning and living it fully?
3. Aging Well – Elderhood..Aging 2.0.. reinventing what it means to get older

Your Facilitator: Michael Collins

I’m the kid who was always in the bush and wanted to go on an adventure.

I’m the guy who loves creating the environment for people to be experiencing something different from the usual.

I am fascinated to reveal common interest between people, organisations, business and to explore how “turning up together” in new and conscious ways can create our society.
