This year’s sports lunch is shaping up to be another brilliant event and we could not have chosen a better moment to be celebrating the achievements of Australian Sportswomen all around the world.
We are excited to announce that Louise Stephenson from the GWS Giants, Ruan Sims, international rugby and Sydney Rooster, and Jodie Hicks from the Sydney Sixes will be on hand to give us their valuable insight on the spectacular rise of women’s sport. James Bracey from Channel 9 will be our host for the event, and more panellists are yet to be announced – stay tuned.
Now is the perfect time to get a table together for your year group and enjoy a delicious three-course meal and beverages. A live and silent auction of fabulous prizes are a key part of the event and there will be something for everyone, as well as a number of entertaining sports-themed games and activities throughout the afternoon. All funds raised at the event go towards the improvement of Abbotsleigh facilities and our invaluable Indigenous Scholarships.
