Event description

You're invited to a High Tea with a difference!

This fun and tasty get together will celebrate women on the spectrum and have you leave ready to start your week on a high.

What better to do on a Sunday afternoon than enjoy an amazing view with a group of wonderful women as we drink lots of tea and eat scrumptious offerings.

Hosted by The Autism West Women's Council, this community event celebrates diversity and inclusion. Jam packed with activities and a few lovely surprises, we encourage you all to come along and try something new!

An insightful "Through the Looking Glass" segment introduced by Ana from the Women’s Council will give you a chance to hear from Katherine and Sam to talk briefly about their experiences.

Tickets include entry, tea and canapes. Oh, and that amazing view!

Champagne/wine and soft drinks are available for purchase from the bar.

And don't forget to bring your spending money to buy a raffle ticket or bid on one of our fantastic silent auction prizes!

FAQs

Q: Can we sit together?

A: Rather than being a seated event, this High Tea is served cocktail style so that you can meet and mingle with other attendees. Fear not – if your feet get tired there will also be chairs and tables, however seating bookings are not required.

Q: What are the silent auction prizes?

A: We are still finalising c=silent auction prizes and will announce more information soon. But we can tell you that items include a luxury 2-night stay at Yallingup (valued over $600) a Career Discovery coaching package (valued over $1500), WA Opera tickets, gym/yoga/pilates classes package, spa vouchers, artwork, and much more!

Don't forget to follow our Facebook event to keep up to date with prizes and auction rules. The Auction will be conducted digitally and will run several days in the lead up to the event with bids closing during the event.

Q: What is the event format?

A: The Autism West High Tea with a difference is, well,… a bit different! There will be plenty of chances to mingle, chat with your friends and meet other interesting people.

If you are feeling more active you might like to play a game, be pampered, or check out some other surprises.

Or, you may just like to chill and that’s fine too. There will be glorious views, so you can while away a few hours looking at the river and watching the yachts sail by… There’s something for everyone!

Q: Are there any discounted tickets?

A: Yes, if you are a current participant of an Autism West program you may be eligible for a discounted ticket. Please email Scott at assistant@autismwest.org.au to find out more.

Q: How do I find the Facebook event?

A: Don't forget to click attending on our facebook event here: https://bit.ly/2PAnTkN
