Event description
Beekeeping field day for aspiring and practicing beekeepers.
The group will visit 3 beekeepers in Apollo Bay and Marengo with Langstroth, Warre, and Flow Hives, and discuss the design, management, and pros and cons of each system. If the weather is favourable we will do at least one hive inspection.
Participants must bring their own protective gear, and places are limited to 10. Afternoon tea and transport between properties is included.
