Event description
Did you know that every night 46,000 children can’t sleep in their own beds because they are at risk of being abused or neglected.
The social issue we face though is big and complex, and we can’t solve it alone
Let’s unite to defend children and their childhood.
The Australian Childhood Foundation (ACF), along with the GPT Foundation and Melbourne Central, are hosting the 2019 Big Love Light Walk; a twilight solidarity walk that symbolizes a life-changing movement for children.
Become a defender, and connect with other defenders. Encourage your family and friends to join you in walking through Melbourne’s CBD to raise awareness of the ACF. Following the walk, you’ll get VIP access to the Big Love Light Party (including a range of fun, free activities and a headline music performance) happening in Melbourne Central’s Shot Tower.

*Tickets include an exclusive merchandise pack including t-shirt, and love light for each participant. Merchandise packs will be available to collect from Melbourne Central, or at your chosen starting point for the event on walk day. We will send you a reminder via email when the merchandise packs are available for collection.
All proceeds from the Big Love Light Walk 2019 will support the work of the Australian Childhood Foundation (ACF)

By taking part in this event you grant the event organisers full rights to use the images resulting from the photography/video filming, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images for fundraising, publicity or other purposes to help support the Australian Childhood Foundation work & mission.
