CACAO AND SOUND MEDICINE - with Julian, Puoro Jerome, Moksha and Puja
This December, Sunday 15 - we bring to you, a very special experience - interweaving - ancient sounds of Mantra, Aboriginal Didgeridoo and Maori Sound Healing to create this powerful night of healing, prayer, transformation and connection. Bathing in the Full Moon energy, we create a space of deep healing and rest.
Cacao Medicine -
For thousands of years, cacao has been celebrated as a food of the gods. Together we will drink cacao elixir, giving ourselves the opportunity to enter into the stillness and wisdom of our being.
We have sourced the most beautiful scared cacao for you and Puja will prepare it with love and lots of healing prayers (and spices:)
Sound Vibrations -
Scientific studies show that sound can produce changes in the autonomic, immune, endocrine and neuropeptide systems. Every atom, molecule, cell, gland, and organ of the human body absorbs and emits sound.
Healing -
Healing is the state of coming into balance and harmony with our highest purpose.
Primordial Sounds -
Mantras have been used in India since Vedic times for healing and meditation. Specific sounds in Mantras have very specific effect, even if we don't know the meaning. Mantra chanting has a very powerful effect on the person and the environment.
Didgeridoos have been around for 40,000 years and produces low frequency sound that we can hear and actual vibrations that we can feel. A very powerful tool to create sound ripples in the whole body, it's almost like the Earth is vibrating through you. The elders used the Didge for healing humans and animals.
Taonga Puoro - Traditional Maori musical instruments reflect the sound of our natural environment from the mountains, rivers, land to the sea. Our ancestors used these instruments in days gone by as tools to heal and promote a healthy body, mind and spirit. Taonga Puoro holds the vibration of the natural world and when played this vibration resonates within us and helps to reconnect to the intelligence and power of nature.
It is an opportunity to connect deeply with self, a gracious experience to meet yourself... It’s about YOU, freedom, joy and healing.
