Intensive two-day training to support community sector workers with clients who use male family violence.

• Unpacking the gendered drivers of men’s family violence
• Understanding work practices that avoid collusion and invite accountability and change
• Evolving your practice to consider risk and safety with a victim survivor-centred response
• Fostering deliberate self-reflection in managing responses

No to Violence has been working with men who use family violence for 25 years. This two-day training for client-facing staff in a variety of community service roles, introduces the key principles and strategies for working safely with men who use family violence. It provides a detailed understanding of the drivers and dynamics of men’s family violence and builds practitioner skills in responding to the challenges and opportunities for working with men towards behaviour change with every interaction.

Our training is also experiential, inviting participants to engage actively and critically with content, drawing on their existing knowledge and experience.
