Join us for a two-week inner and outer journey amidst the “land of high places”, in the awe-inspiring landscape and community of Ladakh. The Himalayan pilgrimage will be anchored in the context of the Economics of Happiness conference, which will be the platform for participant inspiration and education.
Participants will take a two-week journey towards connection to self, others and nature and experiencing local culture, community, nature, economy and activities.
The Economics of Happiness conference will be the starting point and prevailing context for the pilgrimage, grounding participants in the need for locally based, community minded economies and the scalable impact of this vision.
In addition the pilgrimage will include
- 8 day moderate trek (some sections categorised as challenging)
- Connection, Mindfulness and Wellbeing program
- Local experiences
This program will advocate and support the teachings of the EOH conference and also the global organiser of the event, Local Futures www.localfutures.org and the values of Gross National Happiness and www.grossnationalhappiness.com
