From Page to Stage - Poetry Workshop

Event description

Writing and performing poetry - or any public speaking - might be compared to racing in a triathlon; 1) testing a person's creativity, 2) to write their ideas and stories, and 3) to communicate them in a way which is authentic and compelling.

You are warmly invited to "From Page to Stage", facilitated by John Englezos, where you will learn helpful tools in crafting your own writing; address the blockages which may occur throughout the creative process; appreciate afresh the importance of sharing from one's own perspective; and look at the doors which can open when someone finds their own voice.

You will learn:
•  Helpful tools in crafting creative writing
•  To overcome "writer's block" and "stage fright" with easy-to-apply techniques
•  To understand the importance of telling one's own story
•  To write and share some wonderful personal work

This is going to be a fun, explorative and insightful workshop where John imparts his best knowledge to everyone present. All levels of writing and performing skill are welcome.
