Event description

Do you want to make the world be a better place? Are you interested in donating to worthy charities?

Then come and join us to hear from two of the world's leading thinkers and philanthropists, who have devoted their lives to making a positive impact!

In our flagship event "Giving & Happiness", we will hear about the personal journeys taken by Professor Peter Singer and Philip Wollen, their passion and the work they've done to combat poverty, injustice and lead ethical movements that have changed the world.

You will also learn how everyday people like us can make a BIG difference in the world.

Synopsis

The event will comprise a casual and informative chat with both Professor Peter Singer and Philip Wollen moderated by One For The World (UniMelb Chapter) Co- President Stefano Gunawan.

Audience participation is highly encouraged and we will be fielding questions from the audience throughout the discussion.

Following the chat, please join us for delicious vegan canapes and drinks outside. This will be a fantastic opportunity to meet both Professor Peter Singer, Mr Philip Wollen and other wonderful people interested in altruism, from across Australia.

We are also hoping to invite representatives from several NFP organisations to join us. We will provide updates on this shortly.

This event will be a celebration of altruism, moral philosophy and the amazing, positive impact we can all make in changing the world for the better.
