Event description

Tired of the same old brainstorming sessions? Want to learn a better way to solve problems and hatch bold, new ideas?

Human-centred design is a framework for coming up with better ideas in better ways. It's a concept that can be applied to anything - and our session will turn a focus on applying more social good to the world.

Come along to an interactive evening where we will walk you through a series of thought exercises designed to rapidly generate ideas and distil them into solidified concepts.

We will introduce you to human-centred design, showing you how it's done and offering tips and guidance along the way. You will leave with a bag of tricks (and goodies) that will empower you to run sessions of your own.

This event will suit anyone who wants to:

  1. Generate a large number of ideas through understanding and making
  2. Bring people together to inclusively solve problems without it taking too long
  3. Apply new perspectives by looking at things in a more insightful manner
  4. Learn new tips on how to gather and give feedback in a constructive way

You don't need an existing knowledge of human-centred design and you don't need to be an extrovert - we'll give you all you need to know on the night.

All ticket sales will be donated to the Australian Conservation Foundation.

We're looking forward to seeing you on the night!
