Event description
This year Hotel Rottnest is going bigger & better than ever before for the Race that stops the Island. Spanning across Hotel Rottnest from the Island Bar to the Marquee Lawn to the Thomson Bay Marquee guests will be treated the new Mumm Grand Cordon upon arrival as well as sweepstakes, Race Day big bites + event food + the Melbourne Cup live on the big screen and satellite TVs throughout the venue.
Mumm Champagne will have a Grand Cordon bar with Pimm’s Cup hosting a pop up bar for the race day cocktail jugs on the lawn! Gage Roads Brewing will be on all taps with a wide range of locally made Western Australian beers and cider.
With a live cooking kitchen right in the middle of the action - big bites & event style food will be available from 11am till 2pm. Our two local talented MC’s Dunn & Harvey will be roaming throughout the day to rile up the crowd and pose for photos with the punters. Local Perth DJ NDORSE (The Aviary/Noodle Palace) will be playing live from 10:30am until 3pm ramping up the crowd from start to finish. The best race day of the year with that Island feeling.
