For the very first Purposeful CX event for 2019, we'll use the principles of Human Centred Design, Innovation and Business Strategy to show how these approaches to problem-solving can tackle challenges that are beyond commercial.

If you are interested in making a difference in your organisations and society, we will give you an opportunity to either consolidate or enhance your knowledge on these areas so you can also make the world a better place.

We will use the incredible knowledge from our speakers to show you how they have used these methodologies in their organisations so you can like them, drive innovation for social impact in 2019 and beyond.

  • About Harvee Pene

He is a 3x Author, TEDx Speaker, Host of the Inspiring Business for Good podcast and co-founder of Inspire - Life Changing Accountants.  On their mission to become “Australia’s Most Impactful Accounting Firm” inspire is well known for their giving initiative DAY FOR DOLLAR - For every dollar in tax they proactively save their small business clients, they give a days access to food, water, health & sanitation to a family in need.  

As of Jan 2019, they've given 7M+ days of access to life-changing help to families in need, across 16 countries.  The goal is 1Bn by 2030. When not living his purpose - DO GOOD, INSPIRE OTHERS - he can be found travelling the world with his young family - Sarah, Mila & Havana.

He started The Good Beer Co – Australia’s first social enterprise of its kind – to brew beer for good causes and inspire change by demonstrating what passionate people and purpose-led businesses can achieve. In his 20-year career, he has been a change-maker, pioneering corporate social responsibility at a major banking group, building partnerships to lift one million UK homes out of energy poverty, helping grow a social enterprise that floated on the FTSE 250, negotiating ground-breaking, multi-million dollar partnerships that cut carbon emissions, creating a national Healthy Air Campaign, and forming an alliance between a new energy company and leading environmental charities to generate $3 million in funding.

The Good Beer Co's flagship beer - Great Barrier Beer, is a finalist in the prestigious Minister's Award for the Environment of the Banksia Sustainability Awards 2018. James Gurgeon is a proud advocate of Brisbane and Australia and its purpose-led business community and passionate about action to protect our environment and tackle climate change.

Founder and CEO at KidsWantu helping parents and carers solve the problem of how to get quality fun time with kids away from a screen. Building social skills through a unique marketing, communications and social impact platform enabling corporates to support busy families who are their customers and their employees.

With a strong background in business & HR, and immersion in the innovation sector, She feels privileged to be the Federal Government's representative Entrepreneurship Facilitator for the Ipswich region encouraging people to explore self-employment opportunities
