ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Celina Tonkin

Celina is a high-performance coach for ambitious Introverts. She is herself an Introvert, and had noticed over the years that Introverts are undervalued in our society, often because they are too quiet in the world that favours Extroverts.
She created and developed programs in collaboration with Dr Peta Stapleton, an Assistant Professor at Bond University, to enable Introverts to get out of hiding and show up powerfully in this world all the while feeling safe and congruent to their own values.

Kevin Grisé

Kevin first became interested in the concept and power of Hypnosis whilst a Paramedic in the U.S. Navy in 1975. He began his own successful Hypnosis Practice in 1984, implementing and witnessing the power of hypnosis to help people achieve their desire, or overcome challenges in their life.

Kevin has a Degree in Counselling Psychology and is a member of the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners.

Serena Low
Serena helps quiet entrepreneurs find their footing and flourish in a noisy marketplace.
She is the founder of Melbourne Introverts in Business, a Meetup Community of new and aspiring business owners, and the author of the Amazon Bestseller The Hero Within: Reinvent Your Life, One New Chapter at a Time.

So who are introverts?
According to some stats, 30%-50% of the population in the western world are made up of Introverts. They might appear to others as shy, aloof, or not liking other people, when in fact they just have a physiological need to be alone for a while to recharge their batteries.
It is common for others to say to Introverts: “You need to speak up more.” “Speak louder! We can’t hear you”
Psychology Today (Whitbourne, 2014) outlines some of the  signs that you might be an introvert. Here are some of them:
You enjoy time to yourself.
You think best when you are alone
Your best leadership occurs when those you are leading are self-starters.
When questions are asked in a group situation, you are the last to raise your hand.
Other people seek your opinion.
When in public, you often wear headphones.
You try to avoid engaging with people who seem angry or upset.
You do not initiate small talk in casual situations, such as with salespeople in a store.
