How do I find my true purpose as a leader?

The single question we get asked the most at Bambuddha Group, will be unpacked, explained and beautifully framed by our Lunch and Learn Speaker; Dimity Podger.

Dimity is a specialist in purpose and values-driven leadership and business. Her passion is to work with leaders and teams to create businesses that are both great places to work and great for the world. She is currently Director, Barasa Consulting Group: working with leaders, businesses, social enterprises and not for profits to define and activate their ethical compass, including their noble purpose, vision, values, and impact goals. Dimity also leads Masterclasses in purpose and values-driven business and public workshops on defining personal and organisational values. 

As a learning experience designer and facilitator, Dimity also co-designs and facilitates ethical leadership programs for The Ethics Centre and the Australian Graduate School of Management, where she is one of the Program Directors for the new "Leading with Purpose" program.  Prior to forming Barasa, Dimity was the senior research fellow with an international team of civil society organisations, businesses and researchers.

Together, with 150 organisations across 60 countries, they created WeValue, a framework of values-in-action indicators and measurement tools, that entities can use to define and measure sustainability values-in-action. Having worked with clients across sectors in Australia, the UK, Germany, Austria, the US, PNG, Japan, Thailand, India, Italy, and Hong Kong, she has experienced how critical it is for stakeholders to build a common vision and define a shared set of values and principles to enable decision-making, guide and inspire design, and align behaviours.  She speaks at industry events about leading ethical and conscious businesses, as well as noble leadership. Her doctorate explored Education for Sustainability, social learning for change, and character development.

From January we will be hosting monthly lunches for our members to connect, network and learn a thing or two from guest experts sharing business and leadership hacks.

For the first one- 2020 rocks we will be having lunch in the exclusive and rockstar setting of the Hard Rock Cafe private dining room.
